With one of our major concerns being lake safety, it is the wish of our board to reach out and collaborate with the Oakland County Sheriff/Lake Orion PD to put on as many training classes as we can.

This section is devoted to the Lake Orion Youth Fishing Derby, held on Lake Orion, during Michigan’s free fishing weekend. This weekend allows everyone to fish without the need for a fishing license or Recreation Passport, making it the perfect occasion for aspiring young anglers to test their skills.
